Thermostatic Mixers

Over all those years I wondered whether we would ever be in the position to offer our clients thermostatic mixers at a reasonable price. Having three thermostats in my own bathroom (shower, bidet and bath), I am fully aware of the advantages they have.

Getting them from Dornbracht at a good price helped me, but most clients considering such a device think twice when they, hear the price. And yet, the enormous water and electricity saving would recoup the extra cost in no time.

Not giving up my intention to supply a top quality thermostat at a very good price made me look around overseas. I did not find one, but a number of thermostatic mixers at good prices.

Neumann however is only interested in the built-in, under-tile versions in ½” and ¾”. Now we have them in stock. Not one, not two… but ten versions. All of them are made of solid brass to European specifications; they are sold around the world and are now available from Neumann (Ply) Ltd.

In price they range from R1 300, - to about R3 200, depending on whether the open/close valve is integrated or separate, whether the unit is in 1/2" or 3/4" etc.

No longer the task of finding the right temperature when showering and then it is being taken away by someone flushing the toilet or filling a kettle with water. The temperature can be pre-set anywhere between 20 - 38 degrees (body temperature).

A safety button prevents scalding, yet it can be pressed if hotter water is desired. The user will always get the desired temperature no matter if hot or cold water is taken away. It makes sense to invest in a thermostat, as it is not only more convenient, but saves a fortune in water and electricity.
